I tutor ACCA SBL students in the UAE online, through 1-to-1 sessions, small group classes and mock exam marking. The SBL exam, syllabus and marking are the same worldwide, so the preparation is the same. Session times are arranged around UAE time (GMT+4), including evenings and weekends for working students.
Session times for the UAE
The UAE is 4 hours ahead of the UK in winter and 3 hours ahead in summer, and the UAE does not change its clocks. That makes UK evening slots fall late in the UAE evening, while UK weekend mornings fall around midday in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Sessions can be arranged to suit the UAE working week.
SBL for students in the UAE
Many SBL students in the UAE work full time in finance, audit, consulting and corporate roles in Dubai and Abu Dhabi while studying. SBL rewards exactly that commercial experience, as long as you can show it in the exam. Sessions focus on turning practical business knowledge into marks: tying points to the case, writing in a professional report style, and earning commercial acumen marks.
The SBL exam, pre-seen and sittings are the same in the UAE as in the UK: March, June, September and December.

- Analysing the pre-seen for your sitting.
- Timing and planning across the four-hour exam.
- Resit strategy if you have sat SBL before. See failed SBL resit help.
About your tutor
I am Adam Niazi, a Fellow of the ACCA (FCCA) with an MSc in Professional Accountancy from UCL and an Executive MBA from the University of Exeter. I wrote Becoming A Strategic Business Leader, a 19-chapter guide to the SBL syllabus, after coaching students through the exam. I also use these models in senior business roles, so sessions connect the theory to how real organisations work.
